Carol Gray (October 17)
Carol Gray is a gifted teacher, speaker and author. Numerous parents and professionals, as well as the children with whom they live and work, have been helped by Carol’s innovative ideas. She was first known for her Social Stories, but has also researched and spoken about bullying and other relevant topics. Carol is the editor of the Jenison Autism Journal, and is a consultant to students with ASD through the Jenison Public Schools (Jenison, Michigan).
Dr. Tony Attwood (October 18)
Dr. Attwood is a world-renowned expert on Asperger’s Syndrome and author of the best-selling book of that name. Dr. Attwood has spoken around the world on Asperger’s. Dr. Attwood has an Honors Degree in Psychology from the University of Hull, Masters Degree from the University of Surrey and Ph.D. from the University of London. Dr. Attwood maintains a clinical practice that includes clients in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the United States. His interest in Asperger’s dates from work he began in 1971 with children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
